Russia is the largest country in the world. It measures 17.075.400 square kilometers with population 142 million people. Russia has the world’s largest mineral and energy resources. It was founded and ruled by Viking.

            Moscow is Russia’s capital and largest city and is home to more than 8 million people. There are some interesting places in Moscow such as the famous Kremlin and Red Square. The Government used that places for political debates hundreds years ago.

            Russians have a lovely dance. They called it ballet. The most favorite ballets are Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, and Sleeping Beauty. Ballet became famous during the early 20^th century.

            In Russia you also can find Matryoshka doll and Russian egg. Matryoshka doll or nested doll is a set of dolls of decreasing sizes placed one inside another. The pictures of the dolls usually are girls in traditional dress. Russian people make the dolls from woods. Russian egg has been the object of religious adoration. The egg is a symbol of joy, happiness and sun, which bring warmth and nature. Russian eggs painted in different styles and some of the eggs worth for millions.
